Meet The Team

Megan Moir
General Manager

Megan brings to the Club a wide range of experience in management and leadership, combined with a lifelong passion for boating and a love of the Kennebecasis River. It has been Megan's dream to return to Rothesay with a family and a sailboat to recreate those wonderful memories from a childhood spent sailing at the Yacht Club. Though the boat is still in the works, Megan is ready to take the helm as our General Manager. Megan is eager to share her knowledge of boating to ensure the Club runs smoothly, to help grow our Learn to Sail program and increase our membership base.

"The Club was always like a second home to me, and this opportunity allows me to share my experiences with a new generation of boaters while keeping the spirit of the Club intact. I won't just do the job; I will get the job done with passion and love."

Anna Streeter
Head Instructor

I just finished my first year of commerce at Dalhousie University. I have been a member of RYC for my entire life, and have been apart of RYC’s Learn to Sail program for 10 years. I have been a volunteer instructor for 3 years and look forward to the summer ahead as the head instructor.

I started sailing dinghies when I was around 10 years old, and since then, I haven't looked back. I love to live my life outdoors, especially in the valley, where the Kennebecasis is just too beautiful to take for granted. Much of my time is spent on the river sailing, windsurfing, or in the winter, even skating. I have raced at high levels in the C420, and over the last couple years have started to race as part of a crew on various keel boats. I love the sport of sailing so much and have had some incredible experiences and memories because of it, although I'm an athlete at heart, and I love to compete. I look forward to sharing my experience with all the younger athletes, and to an amazing summer on the water

I am thrilled to be working with this great team at RYC learn to sail this year. I grew up on the Kennebecasis river and was surrounded by boats my whole life and have been a member of the Rothesay Yacht Club for 7 years now. I first began this learn to sail program when I was 8 years old and fell in love with it right away. The whole community and atmosphere at the learn to sail program has always been unmatched and I am stoked to bring the same feel to the program that I had growing up!
