Looking for a new adventure on the Kennebecasis River? Our Adult Learn to Sail program offers hands‑on instruction using a mix of boats. Roughly half of the program is taught aboard a comfortable keelboat, focusing on fundamentals and confidence‑building. The remaining time is spent sailing small open boats — either a 420 or a Laser — where participants take a more active, hands‑on role and develop practical boat‑handling skills.  All sessions are optional.

 

Join us Tuesday evenings from 6:00–9:00 pm for a 8-week course led by experienced sailors. Learn the essentials of sailing, including boat handling, rigging, safety, reading the wind, docking, knots, and overboard recovery.

 

Optional keelboat racing practice is available on Wednesday or Thursday evenings. Materials are provided, and your level of participation is up to you.
