RYC’s Learn to Sail program for Youth and Adult offers a fun, safe, and hands-on introduction to sailing on the beautiful Kennebecasis River. Using CANSail’s progressive standards, our certified instructors teach practical skills, sailing theory, and boat handling—all through games, drills, and on-water activities.

Our program is designed for everyone, from first-time sailors to advanced racers. We emphasize confidence, teamwork, and physical activity, ensuring every participant has an engaging and unforgettable summer. Whether racing or exploring, sailors develop strong skills while having fun—and leave with a lifelong love of the sport.
